Does a lack of training in classical and contemporary music disqualify me from becoming part of the piece? I'm not sure. It was clear that the music, while appearing chaotic, was difficult, highly refined and recorded as black dots for the musicians to play. Nothing could stop me thinking that at some point, silence will fall and there would be a rustle of paper as the musicians slap their foreheads and turn the manuscripts on their stands up the right way.

Is this performance or installation? Blurred boundaries. Unused instruments become a temptation. What sound comes next? No, not that one. Indecision followed by exuberant experimentation. Silence. Too much to consider, all thoughts running concurrently, a sleepless mess and jumble. Rising despair/relief. The composer's process on display? Silence. How do we know when it ends? If we clap, will they stop?
