ELISION is the “Incontri Ensemble in Residence” for 2026 at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien, Hannover. The residency consists of 36 total events, which includes workshops and masterclasses with HMTMH students in composition and performance, open rehearsals, guest lectures, performances of newly written student works, and collaborative performances alongside the student musicians of Ensemble Incontri. The residency culminates in two performances at the Klangbrücken Festival, including seven world premieres.
The Incontri Ensemble Residence program is a five-year project, funded in part by zukunft.niedersachsen, the joint science funding program of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture and the Volkswagen Foundation.
